i am lookin for some technique or some software that can change the bpm but not change the sound of the pitch when i make it slower or faster...it worked on a old dj mixstation..but when i record it the quality isnt the best! so is there any chance to get this thing right? thanx in advance

In FL I'm pretty sure you can just stretch it out and it will ask you if you want to restretch all channels... I think you just gotta set ur sample to match the tempo... I unno what software u use tho.

What kind of question is that
If you change the pitch and are changing the sound..

exactly...sorry if i made it complicated... well i use fruity loops and it asks me...but it doesnt automatically change for example a loop ..it still stays on his bpm...

but yeah all i want is it to get slower or faster but not change the soundcolour (what pitching does) thanks tho c4

In FL Studio:
After you load the sample you change where it says "Resample" (under Time Stretching) to "Pro Transient".

FL Slicer, SliceX, etc...

I believe the setting you really want is "Tonal", which is found by left clicking your sample which brings up the "Channel Settings". Half way down you should see "Time Stretching". The default is "Resample" but if you left click, a drop down menu will appear with different methods of time stretching but the one you want is "Tonal" (Maintains original tone throughout stretching).

FLS being as small as it is, I"m suprised it can handle this better than any other program I've tried.
