So I'm still trying to find a sampling tool that's really gonna work for me after having left the world of FL I'm trying Kontakt 2 right now but having issues as usual. I send my sample to the ting and it plays off the key, but when i got into the loop editor or whatver tryin to edit the wav, but the sample isn't even displayed. it says set range or some ****. I just want to get to choppin already. can Anyone help?

can you even time stretch and **** in this or am i just fully wasting my time wiht this?

It will do everything..Read the manual

do you cut it in kontakt or somwhere else?

kontakt is a really good sampler but it's best to chop it up in some software first becuase the CPU will drag like a mofo....

i had to do a dissetation on the NI range exemplifing with kontakt2....


this guy is good. just get some coffee or tea,scroll down and click on "part 1 basics" he makes instruments out of it (which was what it was designed for) it's like a visual manual

I want to cut in kontakt, but i also want to timestretch, i dont see how i can time stretch proper, i know you can do it in version 3 but im using 2. thanks
