So I've always been a big fan of prince's vintage stuff. His influence had a big impact on such proteges like Sheila E. and whatnot. But no matter how I searched I could never find out how he created that crazy drum sound. I really forgot about looking it up until I was listening to Justin Timberlake's "until the end of time" which features a slowed down version of Raspberry Beret's drum loop. So anyone know what drum machine he used and even better, does anyone know where I can cop a prince drumkit for my DAW?
