Wax N' Facts is cool in ATL. No dollar bins, but you can get some good stuff at a fair price($4.00-10.00). I haven't done any serious diggin since earlier this year. Earlier this year there was a Record store that went out of business and I was getting good stuff for 70 cents and under.

There have been Record Shows that come thru ATL. They used to be like once a month. I haven't been to one in about a year. They always have $1.00 bins

Check out Earwax in ATL too. They should be online or on Myspace.

If you plan on getting soul records, you'd be better in ATL. I'm sure 9th has exhausted NC lol

Charlotte is not a good place to crate dig at all! The record stores are closed down for the most part and tend to be far from a dollar a piece! 9th wonder dug here in the raleigh, durham area but i'm fairly new to the digging scene here so i haven't found any good spots yet. But if 9th was able to make it off records here, who knows! lol ATL is far better I imagine tho.

Bout tha only record stores i know of in charlote are Manifest, and Central Records. Manifest is horrible, and Central was pretty overpriced. So i'd probably try ATL if i was you...

I have made my mind up I am going to ATL... But i dont wanna go to ATL with no names of stores because I have never been to ATL before. So to the people in ATL can you share some store names that are halfway good to dig at.

Hey, I just found out Earwax is closed their storefront. Wax N' Facts is still a good spot though. It's in an area called Little 5 Points off of I 20. Also in L5P is Criminal Records. They have alot of CDs and comics. Satellite Records was right across from Wax N' Facts. I don't know if they are still there. They specialized in Techno and dance music. There used to be a bazaar there too that had a few music vendors. L5P is one of those type of spots you meet different types of artsy folks.

I have not been to either of these, but try Wuxtry (404) 329-0020 or Full Moon (404) 377-1919.
