How many records are in your collection?

I have 400 give or take a couple
mostly Soul, Jazz, and some Rock

And if you are strictly an mp3 sampler, this thread does not include you.

Um... if i had to take a guess probably 150, but most of those are "Sample" records, they're party records.

Think I got like 300 or more records and maybe 150 cds to sample off of. and lev it looks like it's about to rain in the bronx as well

I have around 400-500 LP's and 200 CD's. The CD's are 90% hip-hop. The LP's are 50% soul, 30% hip-hop, 10% jazz, and 10% rock.

Gear: HP Mini 1,60GHz, 1GB RAM, Yamaha MG12/4, M-Audio BX5a, M-Audio Ozone, M-Audio Trigger Finger, Lenco L-3866USB, Röde NT-1, StudioProjects VTB1.
Software: FL Studio 9, Renoise 2, Audacity + VST plugins.

That quote shows you have no appreciation for music. "Useless records"? These records weren't made for you to skim for samples... They were made to listen to! And I betcha if you started thinking about them more as actual music than as a sample-source, you'd be able to find a lot more samples in them, cuz you'd listen more closely and catch the sample-worthy details...

Not nearly enough but my boy got a hole wall full hes a dj so I fux wit his records while i up my collection.but i got some good samples in my few stacks.

I fined that kickin back and listening to records is the best way,the sample finds you so to speak!!
