Im bored hypothethical question.

if you remake a beat and release it. with some else spitting different lyrics. okay you'll have to pay the for the samples but would you have to pay the producer / artist of the beat you've remade?

I"m a little confused by your question. Do you mean you remake a beat, but the original beat was based off someone else's sample, and when you remake that beat you use the same sample?

Producers use the same samples all the times. It was flipped different. They just had 2 clear the sample on the Jeezy album the same way as Freeway's.

i have a question.. what if you sample the same song twice.. do you have to clear it twice?

like THree 6 Mafia sampled Willie Hutch's "I Choose You" for two different songs

Ok There's something I'm not getting here as far as i know anytime you sample you must get it cleared! That means paying the artist publishing company and record label because they are the co owners of that recording . If you do a cover of song you just pay the artists publishing company or whom every has publishing rights to the song.
