Try snares on sixteenth notes with accents on the first and each subsequent fourth note in the series (5, 9, etc.). Or try using two snares with differing velocities and bounce between them.
yall niggas are crazy harsh on the nigga.. i wish i used that equipment that i could help u out son.. i remember when i was just like u son..he might be trying his ass off.. but a little direction always helps to get there faster..
thats really not a roll, it's a fill. and it's easy, just tap it out on the keys just like you hear it, not that hard. listen and emulate. but you have to practice, practice, practice, you dont get timing and skills over night.
