My vote goes to Richard...

Eric, I'm sorry, but the quality of your sounds is kind of bad. Your beat could have been a strong contender with better sounds. Especially that piano soundfont... it is a bit out of tune.

Eric G's lacked substance. It felt very empty. IMO it wasn't really fit for a beat battle. It's too lay back. Too spacious. More elements need to be added to make this joint seem more "alive". More layering/eq'ing to the percussion perhaps. And it got repetitive way too fast.

Richard Bankz's track was by far the more superior out of the two. The intro did a good job for anticipation as well as first hook section. That bass may be little too loud. This track also got repetitive rather quickly, but there was more personality to Bankz's track and more cohesiveness amongst the sounds chosen, giving him my vote.

Vote: Bankz.

good feedback...

yeah, i guess the beat did turn out weaker than i expected. i meant to re-do the sounds (the piano is mda-piano, not very good) but the time crunch cam down. working with some better sample/sounds these days so hopefully i will be more prepared in the future. thanks for all of the honesty.

rich - sick beat man. i think the cash register is a bit loud too, but i really liked it.

I vote for Richard Bankz... Eric i wasn't really feelin the drums. It seemed like pattern was bad, they were like braking down the song, if u know what i mean... They were just not fitting with the melody... And Rich got better sounds
