This one is TOUGH...

Clips. Nice beat! you do well to keep the track interesting, I do like your chopping, and your drums are very much on point. This has the perfect smooth, flowing feel.

JS, I can tell you were really feelin' your track. It's got power, presence, and ultimately is the one that sticks to me, even though there is a certain... maturity that it is missing... I really enjoy the ending.

It's a difficult choice because I really enjoy both tracks, but I will give my vote to thabest216.... because of the energy.

thebest216. The drum programming didn't really fit for some reason. I was hoping for some switch-up to make things interesting. Despite the vass transitions that took place later on in the beat...the repetitive drum pattern was hard to ignore, at least for me. The energy was still really high on this track though...which allowed me to enjoy it. The first transition was good...that other instrument that you used to accompany those slices got a bit annoying though...that didn't fit really well...and the transition after that sounded kinda off because of the slices you decided to use...they really contrasted and weren't really able to mesh because of the key each of them were in.

Clips...your beat had a lay back boom bap feel...but the chopping wasn't sharp enough...most of those slices were overlapping...making the overall progamming sound really sloppy...and the track also got repetitive and boring mad quick...

soo...

Oh a tie.
I get to do the deciding vote.

thabest216: Damn this has a lot of energy. I love how the drum hooks you from the get go. The samples are really well picked as well.

ClipsProductions: I really like how you chopped your samples. Its got that great glitch feel but overly glitchy. The drum are great as well.

Production wise I really like what both have going on here. Personally I like ClipsProductions feel the best so that's who I am going to have to vote for.

ClipsProductions wins this round.
