I see a lot of threadz about bassplayers and whatnot...i just thought id share this bass player with yall...

victor lemonte wooten...i seen him over a dozen times live and I SWEAR he's not human

Victor is definitely the man. Randy Jackson from American idol is good as well on bass

I couldn't get past all of the singing on his albums, but seeing him live definitely amazed me...He's incredible.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing. Randy's gotten away from playing and more into the American Idol thing. Even still, he was never even close to Victor as far as style or technique.

I was not attempting to compare the two just someone else to check out. I assumed that anyone that is just finding out about Victor doesnt really have much exposure to talented bass players. Some others to check out are Pino Paladino, Andre Gouche to name a few.

Jamiroquai's Paul Turner is excellent.
Wooten is a nice guy, but his style of playing is too busy for my ears. I only liked the cover of "Just the two of us" by him.
