Im gonna start college in the fall and thinking about majoring in multimedia art because I want to create music videos. I have a friend who has a studio and who made a CD of his work and thinking about maybe trying to create a video for one of his songs just for fun and to get the feel of it. I was wondering what kind of equipment i would need and where I could get it if anyone could help. Much appreciated.

1) A digital camera; with capabilities of transferring to PC. Most digi cams these days are standard with this.

2) Firewire interface card for PC. For transsferring videos from camera to PC. *Dont use USB , coz its slow as fuk*

3) In utilising step 2, you will need a software for importin the videos and editing etc. The best and foremost easiest software would be Sony Vegas.

4) All Done. In total, u shouldnt be spending no more than $1000. And the creaitivty and **** is entirely up to u!.
