Audition had better timestretching than Audacity (hell better everything for that matter). Search the forum for granular timestretching as I posted this before, but the tut was done in R3 and it seems to not be the same in R4

I was wondering the same thing. I'll search the forums. I totally forgot Audacity can change sample tempo.

I can try it in R4, can only do it with the NN-19 tho, as the NN-XT doesnt allow much automation beyond the ADSR, Pitch and Mod Wheels.

with my samples i usually go the wav -> recycle -> .rex file for use in Dr. Rex
never really messed with the nn's for sampling, neever really understood how to do it.

I like changing the pitch, personally. Gives a differrent feel. In fact when I flipped lowrider, i timestretched it just so could change the pitch.
