Greetings to all. I have recently b ought a mbox mini and have pro tools le 7. I am trying to figure out how to import a track from a cd to sample then chop it up. from playing around with it for the last few days and reading the manual i think I know how to chop, add reverb and effects. i did it to my own voice on a track. my problem is getting the track from the cd into pro tools. The manual says to start new session, set it to stereo and all that, put source cd into drive,open the workspace browser, clickthe audio cd icon to show files,then i can click the speaker icon to preview the track. I got that far and this is where my problems start. It says to drag the file to the "track list" in the edit window to import the file to a new audio track. It even has a screen shot. I don't see this "track list" anywhere so i don't know where to drag it. My screen dosen't look like the screen shot they have.It has the track list to the far left and thats just not there after i have followed instructions at least 25 times. Can any one guide me through this.I lost my old cool edit that i love and would love to get back to chopping my samples. Any HELP would be preciated folks!
