he said "we created a sample."


and even if you recreate or replay a sample, there still will usually be written credit/acknowledgement of the source.

but i haven't seen the album credits for american gangster anyway so

and c'mon fellas (not u mendosa), by now, you're supposed to have a good enough ear for whats a sample vs whats not.
