So, I'm back at the parents' for the summer with nothing much to do till school starts again. My dad recently acquired a DuKane 1E460A tube amp, and I dug up some old speakers he also had lying around with the purpose of hooking the whole shebang up.
Then I realized I know little to nothing about it.
Here's what we have in the back of the amp (screw connections):
70V. -- COM. -- 8 -- 4 -- 25V. -- BAL.
The speakers are Acoustic Research AR-4's with the typical 1 and 2 screw connectors.
On the back of the speakers it says to hook the amps 0 and 8 up to the 1 and 2. I see the 8... but no 0... what do I do?
Then how do I hook the other speaker up? Series? Parallel? Or just run a separate cable the same way with nothing connecting either speaker to eachother?
Thanks, I don't want to blow up any speakers!
