Hey, I've been using these monitors for years and absolutely love them. I've always beaten around the bush and not got around to getting a sub until now that I really need them. I need to add a sub-woofer to get the low end bass out of some hip hop tracks (for example, the intro to Evanescence's "Bring Me to Life"). The sub in this song kicks in my car, but at home on these monitors you can't hear it. So, when I'm producing a track it's a guessing game how it will sound until I'm in my car.

So, can anyone enlighten me on how subs on computers work? Where in the world do you connect it to? My audio card now (Fast Track Pro) sends the audio to the two Alesis speakers.. where would the sub connection go? Would I need a new sound card with the proper out (ah this would be a *****!)
