Whats up everyone, I love it when people talk about their different digging storie so if you have one please post it up. This is just for conversation so anything is cool.

well not much of a story but here goes. Im out here in philly visiting the school im goin to go to next year so i thought i might as well go diggin while im out here, took a lil while to find a store but i eventually found one (repo records). Anyways im lookin around they got a pretty good selection then i see some stairs down to the basement, i go down and man there are just crates and crates of records, all of em less then 3 bucks. i dont got any store like that around me in chicago so im like **** i wish i brought some more money, dug around spent all the money i could, 31 bucks. im in the airport now, its good to know therell be a lot better record stores out in philly when im livin out here then in chicago.
not a very interesting story reading back on it but ****, ill start the thread out.

Yea that sounds sick, I'm in VA so there aren't to many places that I know about. I'm always dreaming of finding a place like that.

one day, i found an offer, and that offer was for 4,000 vinyl. I didn't believe it at first, but it was a once in a lifetime offer so i jumped on it immediantely. I copped immediately, now everyday i do write rhymes and make alot more hip hop and r&b beats, i love music. Sometimes i hate digging through the mountain of gift i've been given, but it's endless and endless music and creation when listening for that part that gives me that feeling. You go to the store to dig, i go to the crib and dig. And i love paying hommage to the artists i sample from.

How much were the 4,000 records?And yea I found a Fatback band at my Salvation army.It doesn't seem great ,but when I saw a vid of THES ONE buying the same one, I was like "YEA LOOK AT ME NOW" lol

Dig that. I passed up on a opportunity for like 400 records for the low. Regret'n that sh*t now. Always capitalize on sh*t like that!

i'm not going to disclose the exact amount i payed, but i can assure you that it was a pretty damn penny, i actually went broke and was only left with like 30 dollars in my account after this, but i was fienin and knew this oppurtunity would never come again. Hell i just gave my boy like 50 records just for him to find me some dope sh!t because im too lazy to go threw all the digging lol.
Also, i found some rare records. I typedin the artist and the title and i can't even find them on the internet, **** is weird, but i was told that was the only way you could find out if a record was rare.
