hey, i'm mostly new to sampling and all that, mostly i've just been recording straight audio. anyway, i was trying to find an easy workflow to get samples from records or whatever. things to loop mostly. i was curious if logic is the best program to use for getting the audio into my computer, truncating, all that. also, is it best to normalise samples right after i get them into logic? apply eq? any of that while i'm building my sample library? or would it be best to just record things dry, truncate them and save?

ehhh.. i dunno.
