I just got my table Stanton T.60 I know it needs to be amped but do I need to get a mixer or can I just run it through my Mic Pre (presonus Blue Tube) via RCA to 1/8 cable? Also what cartirdge would yall recommend?
yeah I think you could, but with RCA-1/4" - 1/8" is iPod size jack. It might be a bit noisy, seeing as RCA is unbalanced, and in my experience the low end presonus 'tube' preamps are pretty noisy by themselves.
