I am embarrased to say but as a producer i know howto ceat a beat from scratch almost instantly but theart of the sample is my weakest area please send some help to ur fellow future producer??? HAere's onebeatiattempted to chop and creaste into a beat as an example....also i use in thisorder exactly acid to cut the sample, recycle to chop, and the adv nnxt in reason.....

The easiest way to get into chopping samples is to keep everything organized in time.

For instance,

Chop four bars that you like out of your song and load it into recycle.

Instead of trying to chop out random sounds, chop it into beats.

So in the first bar chop out the four beats, the second bar's four beats, etc.

Thats the easiest way for me. It keeps everything sounding neat.

it so damn for me to do that...i can do it out of luck with certain samples but in general i suck ass when it comes to that

Chopping bars (or half bars) helps. Or chopping just at drums, like snares and kicks (should be in some increment of a bar but they arn't necessarily all going to be equal length chops) is a common way. That's how i do it, just chop at the drum. So if you hear a snare hit, make the beginning of your chop on that snare. However, you will have to chop places that arn't drums or else you will have a snare sound on every chop.
