How do I do the chipmunk voice right using adobe audition 2 or 3....I understand that this is a dusty old topic but I'm now ready to explore the world of sampling...i've been making original beats forat least 6 years so do anybody have tips on this subject....and sorry if ya have to explain this ova & ova...
oh thats it lol...My business partner told me a hold bunch of **** that didnt make sense lol......so when i pitch up and chop how do I get all my sample chops on the same rhythm
Wouldn't pitch and then chop. Chop and slice then pitch on the flip. Unless you're timestretching for Reason or any other proggy that doesn't timestretch.
Yeah, pitch the whole thing, not chops. I recommend atleast trying pitching up before you chop, just to see where the tempo would be. Then go back to normal if it sounds like it will work and pitch after you chop. I only pitch after i chop but i'm not going for the effect.
However, you may need to time stretch as well. Then it makes more since to pitch before to me, then chop. I don't time stretch often though.
