Im interested in getting something to make techno and ****. So far the only thing that caught my eye is the Roland XP-80, which i played at mars for a while, it is a very nice keyboard and can make many sounds which i like ( and i got my taxes back yesterday ), however im not sure how good is is comparded to other keyboards, by playing it i found it supiroer to the rest, anyway my goal is to make tight **** techno nad mabye realistic synthiszied guitar sounds, i am not sure if a keyboard is the way to go, or mabye a AKAI sampler not sure what it is but i have a few sounds cd's for it. Also getting a hold of programs like cubase, and cakewalk would not be a problem, so being the dumbass that i am the broad question is, if i want tight techno and hopefully realistic guitar sounds, should i get Roland XP-80 ( or a differant keybaord), an akai sampler (whatever that is) or can i make the best **** with a computer, i preety much have all the good progs, just havent really go aquntied with them. Any help would be much appricated.
