I thought this forum was kinda dead so I'm gonna ask...what kinds of pedals are you using? What do you like for what kind of music? What's your effect placement? Board? Power supply? Fill me in...I'll post a pic of mine when I get home...

I saw some really nice pedals reviewed on Youtube.. but I myself use Guitar Rig 2 software. It's got some nice effects, but I noticed some pedals with wild effects are easy to use, while software is difficult to set up.

What software is good for amp and pedal emulations? I'm only using hardware. Mostly analoge pedals except for my digital delay and a reverb....ill take and post a pic when I get home...

Ok theres a link to a current picture of my pedal board. Honestly though knpowing me It'll e different in a month. Ive owned tons of pedals. I still have 3 or 4 pedals I have on the side I havent really integrated yet But I dont use them enough. Ive owned a Pod XT And a POD XT LIVE. Both are pretty sweet but in the end I went with a single pedal approach.

I'm going to footpedals and amps for guitar. I've been using pod xt live and the software amp emulations and it's okay.
Right now I've got a moogerfooger low pass that I run all kinds of stuff through (guitar, keys, soft synths, bass, drum submix).
I also have a Boss CE, groove tubes brick, dunlop cry baby, vintage roland space echo that needs some cleaning up, rocktron banshee and pro co rat. plus bunch other digital pedals that I never use.
I have an order on moogerfooger phaser and metal muff.
I'm watching ebay for some of the rare stuff and moogerfooger analog delay.
Still need a new head (tube) and cab (2X12).

i just recently started playin guitar about 2 and a half months ago. I've been learning some basics slowly as i don't have time or money to get lessons, even tho i definitely would if i could.
So far, i bought 2 danelectro pedals, the crappy looking plastic ones, jsut to get an idea of how to use some pedals as i have never used them before in my life. I got the chorus and 7-band eq one. Fun to play around with, not i think they sound great for the price, just gotta be careful when using them because the case is just made out of hard plastic pretty much. These two sound good, i tried a few others from this company, but a lot of them don't sound good to me. These 2 were the ones i think sounded good, and they were cheap so it was a cost effective way to experiment with some pedals.
I also bought a boss tr-2 tremolo pedal just last week, i've played around with it for a little while, i like it so far, i'm gonna have to use it some more and get better acquainted with it in the next couple of weeks.
Crybaby wah pedal is probably what i'm going to look into next.
As far as power supply, i just got my spot1 power supply today. It allows you to hook up 8 pedals at once from one ac adapter, it even comes with adapters so you can hook up all different kind of pedals to it from different manufacturers. I haven't tried it yet, but i will later today and i will let post here on my experience with it.

Damn that sucks haha. I heard good things about the cool cat too, might have to check that out too, i forgot all about it.
Good to see some topics like this in this sub-forum, it seems like there's almost no one playing any guitar and bass at all around here; seems like there's more people concerned with trying to find out what synths have good guitar, bass, and string samples lol. I'm not hating on anyone, its just that i was excited when they created this forum for guitar and bass because it was about the time when i was looking into buying my guitar, and since i visit this site often, i thought it would really be good, but its been pretty dead so far. Hopefully this can get going sometime soon, i know i'll try to post up anything i learn or have questions about
