Check out carvin's cobalt series they are really good for the price. And I'm a little confused by "country sounding" 70% of style somes from the way you play...

That is a very obscure question. The only way to answer that is to go and try a bunch of guitars out. The same guitar waill sound different in two different peoples hands.

Depending on how much you want to spend.


Taylor 200 series for about 1k

For under 1k - Seagull s6 one of the best bang for the buck. quality of craftsmanship, tone, solid top.

Then I've always had good luck with yamaha models.
