Just a quick question...I have an mpc 4000 and I'm trying to arrange the sample so that it lies within a keyboard note range without the samples pitch changing. I have already taken a sample and tried this before. I'm familiar with the terms "KEYGROUP" and "DRUMGROUP" and understand the differences between them. I've gotten to the point where the sample will play fine within the middle "C" octave but as soon as I trigger the sample up an octave or down an octave the sample will quickly play or slowly play. My goal is to achieve having all 88 keys play the sample without the pitch changing, but keeping the correct pitch for that note. Hope I didn't lose anyone, it is a little confusing to explain. If you know where I'm going with this question please do your best to help me figure this out.

Thanks a bunch!!!

if its gonna be the same pitch, why do you want it on separate keys?
