ok i just got this axiom from a friend and i wanna use the damn pads to control the chops i made in the fruity slicer. my problem is that the pads seem to be controling the octave of c3 but in the slicer the samples start at c5. how in the hell do i get it to where i can use the pads to trigger the samples?

did you get the maudio software to change the pads? otherwise there HAS to be some way to edit the notes that the pads trigger. look in the manual my friend.

get the sample you want from FL slicer, then drag and drop into the FPC pad you want, scroll to learn, press the pad you want to assign to that sample, and repeat these steps for all the pads or keys you want to assign, its kinda like an mpc feel, actually that is basically what it is if you use an Akai mpd 24 w/ FPC.

or go into the MISC tab in the channel settings window and then right click on the C3 note, that is the easiest way most likely

This is my workaround for my MicroKontrol which also plays my pads at octave C3. Go to Misc tab and follow what the pic says

thanks guys for your help this really has helped me out alot i appreciate it so much. its good to see there are least some helpful people out there. i also figured out that in the littlr window where you manualy chop it up there is a couple options to reverse, rename the chop and to choose the trigger note for each sample
