I know people here are going to say find your own samples and make your own music...yeah, i agree with you 100%...but i am in the process of learning the fundamentals. I look at it like playing a piano, if you can't play songs already written, how can you create your own? well that's the way i look at producing music...that's why I am trying to understand the difference between these two loops (or how I could make them the same)...I have no idea how Just Blaze messed with this loop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

simple. all Just did was slow it down a bit, chop up the horns, add some drums, and did a little keyboad work. it's pretty easy

by keyboard work, are you saying he played the bass or did he just use the low pass filter?

thanks a lot guys...so if you were to re-create it, you would slow it down, chop up the horns, and play the bassline with the keyboard?
