Hello, I am currently pretty new to this world of music production and I'm looking for some opinions on what kind of software I should start up with. I currently have a PII 333/mhz PC with 128mgb/RAM.
I am currently thinking about using Cubasis VST as a seq. and as a soft synth/sampler I would use Dynamo v/1.0 and for some extra spice I would use PSP MixPak and PSP SteroPak plugins.
I'm just wondering if anyone could give me some opinions on what I'm thinking about using. Also I'm on a pretty tight budget.

If you are looking for an all in one package you might want to check out Reason made by propellerheads software. Its not as complicated as some of the more expensive programs but it also has most everything you need to do music production all in one environment.

Runs about 399$ and available at http://www.propellerheads.se
