I need help with my setup. I have a numark turntable, a behringer mixer, and an amp, i know the amp probably isnt necessary because my turntable has a preamp but i want to hear the record without recording it. Right now i have it running through the amp into my computer but it distorts the sound. I used to just record the whole album in like cool edit or w/e and then listen but thats a time consumer, so what i need to know is how do you have a record play outloud without the amp? are usb turntables easier in this way? thanks.
