Suppsoedly Premier sample Lawerence Jacobs - Holdin On...i have the track and i have no clue how he sampled it.this absolutely boggles my mind it sounds nothing like that sample...if anyone know how preem did it mind letting me know im very interested....maybe he played it backwards i dunno...i need help witht his one thanks
This is one of my favourite hip hop tracks of all time, dope song. I did have the sample on vinyl and it was obvious to me how he flipped it. Are you sure it was Lawrence Jacobs? Cuz i'm pretty sure i dont have any Jacobs records.
I wish there was more 'scratching choruses' in rap these days. That's the sweetest part of premiere's technique to me. It really adds life to the track.
