this beat is heading south from the 70's to 07....like hot summer nights in a yellow caddy wit yo hoes in the backseat situation goin on...i would like to hear that "headin south" **** within the song a couple times tho....sick beat man....some slow riding ish right there.

you're sampling heading south but other than the hat pattern and tempo you kept it up north. ditto on lowering that snare and drop some 8's in there to give it the dirty bottom.
That sample is pretty bare, man. I would definitely have put some nice original keys over it, made it sound more full. And definitely a bass line. But that is a nice real sample, for real. Reminds me of some 3-6 type stuff.
