Go to "w w w dot Dubcc dot com"

This website list the credits for hundreds of Rap albums, and some mixtapes depending on the artist. Register, then go to the message board labeled "The Vault" or use their search function.

This only works if you have the Artist Name and Song or the album you heard the sample in. For example if you're trying to I.D. the sample 50 cent used in "I Get Money", use to search feature, type in "Curtis" and search through the results.

Btw, the song "Contains elements from "Top Billin" (Robinson), performed by Audio Two"

Of course this site doesn't have everything but it will definitely help people out.

Is it just me or are 99% of the credits listed only showing the Producer of the song?
I have not seen 1 that shows a sample used yet?

sometimes it's just the producers listed, but I have definitely found postings with the samples that were used.

It helps me because I'm more of the type to play out beats, but when I wanna research where samples came from to get myself into sampling, dubcnn is a great website. I don't sample the same song, just look up music from the sampled artist.

I should caution that some of these are sometimes incorrect at first and later updated. Sometimes people find incorrect song titles/producer credits ahead of when an album is released...stuff like that.

You know you can just link it right?

www.dubcnn.com/thevault

It's not spamming or promoting free downloads, it's just a listing so nobody should really have a problem with it being linked.
