whats up i got a quick question i just got some vinyl and and a turntable but i know i need a mixer but i have a behringer eurorack ub802 mixer i used 2 record songs iw lying around is it possible 2 plug the turntable into that mixer with rca's then into my computer soundcard or do i need a different mixer? and the mixer has mic preamps

Connect the vinyl to a channel in your mixer, RCA is fine for this. And your mixer should be connected to your soundcard via Stereo Jack or XLR. Then just record it into your DAW..

Let me know if this is too vague and i will go into more detail..

ur askin if u can sample tha vinyal without a dj mixer and use ur phantom powered mixer for ur mic.i tried it dont work u need tha dj mixer.its got phono.thats tha key ta vinyal .....phono......thats what ya need.

Thats bullshyt, you dont need a DJ mixer.

Just plug your TT into the RCA inputs on your mixer, or even the Record In inputs. This is how i've got mine set up, this is how most people got there's set up lol..

Dont go buy another mixer, you dont need it.

Rubbish, as far as I can tell the mixer he has has got no phono stage, there is no way he can record straight from a record deck into it without a phono stage first...
