IM new to sampling, and I'm just wondering if theres way to figure out the key of a sample using reason/recycle.I know I could try to figure out with my ear, but is there a more exact way??
use your ears man practice gee's its not so simple you can just click a button and every thing is done for you im sure there is some kind software for it but your not always going to have your magic program that tells you every thing and then you will be stuck in the studio if you have to work on a keyboard or mpc.
yep, use your ears, i learned to play keys from playing along with samples, trust us give your ears the practice it's invaluable. especially when you start playing your own bass lines and all that.
