Being that I'm 1/8th asian, I gotta stay true to my roots. I got alot of stuff. Lemme know which direction you're trying to go, and I'll lead you to the right stuff.

Two things that annoy me are people who are positive out of ignorance, and people who are negative out of bitterness. People who are neither usually get along with me and agree with most of what I say. People who are one of the 2 think I'm the other.

heya, thanx for the reply.. im looking for a range of samples.. i particularly like the style used on a track by Arsonists called "language arts".. i like the plucked and strummed type instruments eg. gambus, lute, pipa etc... i also like the big Hong Kong movie scores in the old kung fu movies.. i have a few samples of these instruments in one-shot form.. but cant seem to get an authentic tune.. so now im looking for loops and chops.. any help appreciated.. Thanx!

nobody?

Try looking for ethinic musicians, and then look for they're albums. Thats what I did.

hell yea i agree with lion-ucs, go to target or walmart and pick up some of those ethnic cd's. There usually like 5-10 dollars and of one cd with 18 tracks, just imagine how much u could get off one cd.

Soundfonts have some nice General MIDI ethnic instruments.

MIDI program numbers are 105-112, among others.
