Straight up No chase

what would u call a typical drum pattern i mean to a degree arent they all typical i learned in music theorey how the human brain will reject things that are too strange tothe ears so what is an untypical drum pattern

i herd the kick on every beat makes your brain want to get up and do somthing, (dance) my friend told me that he learned that in an music theroy class also

That's where you get that from.

Typical hip-hop drum patterns involve hats/ride/etc on every eighth note, snare on the 2 and 4 (with flourishes in other positions) and kick at least on the 1, and usually anywhere else, except the two and the four.

i understaand that give me an exampleof a producer or one of yall can post a hot drum pattern that is not typical maybe i am not hearing it right

a non typical drum pattern would be swtichin it up...like instead of the snares on 2 and 4 do a snare on 2 and then on the upbeat after 4 or the "and" or 4

if ur gonna make beats im pretty sure u need to read up on theory of rhythms and also lisen to jazz
