simple question! how many sample do you got (in average) from one lp?

i digg for soul/ funk/ jazz and progrock of the 50-70s and found per LP about ~ 3 Sample. most of them are rhodes/ piano/ organ chords.
i m not the typical melody sample.. thats why i often sample chords or short licks.

all the best,
labsky

I guess it really depends on your ear. A record could have two samples on it for you but the next guy listens to it and finds 10. It's all in how you percieve the music. With that said, I usually find 2-6 samples on a record.
