when you have your turntable hooked up to your computer, how do you record the song into your program??

I got audacity, reason, and recylce, so I am assuming I would want to record it into audacity

thanks for any help i appreciate it

check in ur input devices, and ur usb connection, if u connect it correct it should pop up so u install the device in ur comp...and change the preferences in Audacity when u install it, so the device u r looking to record with is the turntable...

aight and when i play the record on the turntable it will automatically record into audacity???

how come i see in different videos producers like moving the record around themselves while its recording???

if your input devices in audactiy are set right and you press record in audacity then it will record.
