yo man, i love samplin certain jazz stuff. mainly because they have limited amounts of vocals to them.

fp member Mercy told me to look into some Miles Davis, so i jacked my dad's miles davis- Gold collection cd, and got another album (nefertiti) but the stuff seemed too fast. i just can't figure out what to grab.

the stuff that i really like is **** like Bob James, i have his albums "One," "Two," "Three," and "Four" and they are the ****!!! i also love Ahmad Jamal's "Jamalca." that album is crazy.

anybody know any more stuff like this? I know PlanetHitz is a jazz fan.

Most of my jazz is on vinyl, alot of it obscure too, but check these dudes out if you run into them. Most of it I can't sample, but just to listen to it is good enough for me. Check out anything from Herbie Hancock and The Ramsey Lewis Trio
