Yeah i do have all that software and have sampled before but my sampling is limited to a four bar loop, or 8 bar or 2 bar looped thrice and a changed 2 bar at the end. Now when you listen to the songs i mentioned above from the diplomats album you'll notice that the sampling is not rigid they are cutting up the sample into such small samples and then putting them togethere into one 4 bar loop....you'll understand if you hear the tracks. Please if you know how its done can you help me out

No, Recycle works along side Reason.

It allows you to pencil in chops or auto-chop it, and then save it to a patch. Then you open it in Reason with a sampler, and it puts every single chop across the keys.

IMO it's the poor-man's MPC.

Except it doesn't work like a poor-man's MPC, and if you know what you are doing it you can make it work exactly like an MPC.

Fruity Loops has a chopper like that.

I can't think of any stand-alone chopping programs.

I'm not sure, but I think that Cubase has an auto-chop.

Really, you're best bet is to just make the chops in Audition, Soundforge, or Cool Edit. Just a basic audio editor.

You can use Recycle as a stand alone WITHOUT having to use Reason. It Chops up pretty nice. I'd still rather use Soundforge though.

yeah you can use recycle with FL7. thats what i do anyway. map out your chops in Recycle, then put it in the slicer and bam. rearrange the chop how you want them in piano roll or with your midi controler and their you go. hope that helps.
