this is 100% serious. if im not on a depressant my chops sound sloppy. they sound less organized and less "perfect" if you will... its really hard to explain but does anyone know why this might be... i think it may be because my system is slowed and im taking my time? it took me 4 hours to make my first full chop beat (www.myspace.com/korahthesoloist) and i cant do much unless im on oxycodone. please help

Maybe your over analyzing it to much. Stop thinking and just make beats.

Yeah your'e probably psyching your self out. Thinking you can't do anything unless your twisted. To tell you the truth it would probably take about a month sober to start making beats and feeling good about it. Try not to think about and try to relax. It's all mental.

I have a friend that cant make beats unless he drinks... it has to do with something else in your life that you need to confront... until you do, it's going to effect everything in your life. all addictions are a symptom not the problem.

No doubt. Good luck those things are hard to quit. Look at the upside you'll have more money for records. Use music as your'e pain meds.

That's stupid...lol I can understand someone saying they like to have a couple drinks or smoke a little weed before they make music but to say you can't do it without it is ridiculous. I honestly can't understand how kids can be so stupid to put Oxycodon in their systems when it's pretty f*ckin' apparent how bad it is for you. Talk to your parents and tell them to send your ass to rehab. Oxycodon is like pharmy heroin.

First off, 1) I'm not addicted, I only use them at limited times (less than once a week, and thats why im slow with beats)
2) I was introduced to them by surgery, and I dont plan to buy any more once I run out, seeing as how I dont buy them illegally.

Please don't be an idiot
