Here's the skinny. A few months ago I bought a Yamaha DX7 II for a rather nice price. I am quite happy with it overall, I just have a couple tech questions regarding the 3.5" floppy. I have already downloaded a few thousand patches for it. My problem is this: when I tried to format a disk, it looked like it was going to do it, but at the end it said it wasn't the right kind of disk. Lo and behold, it takes those old-school double density, double sided disks.(2DD opposed to 2HD.) Can I save the patches from my pc to these disks after they have been formatted by my DX7?
The second problem: jeeez, are they hard to find nowadays! The only reason I havn't ordered one from yamaha is because a friend of mine has tracked down a pair for me. Turns out his dad's company had a few in the archives. I want more though, so if anyone has any of these discks, let me know, and I'll gladly take them off your hands.
Thanks!
