General Question

Wanted to know i hear people say that with the MPC you can take a chopped sample and spread it to each pad and go to work.Question can the same functions be done with the MPD 24 and if so how do you cut down on the delay time from the time you hit the pad. I had my usb keyboard plug into my FL program but there was delay..please respond

The delay would has nothing to do with the MPD 24. You need to adjust the latency in FL studio or your sound card control panel. If its the soundcard that came with your computer, you might want to consider a better one to achieve a reasonable latency.

And yes, you should can assign a chopped sample to the different pads, that is a feature of FL.

You would probably have to go with an external interface ... for the latency problem you're describing, an ASIO card is a must. Check out M-Audio interfaces for pretty good bang-for-your-buck factor.
