hey peeps, when im choppin up a song i try to chop the different parts in bars/ beats as evenly as possible but sometimes not all the parts are a perfect match. so when i load them into fl and stretch em or what ever i wanna do there is a big difference in the they way they sound. ive even changed them so they are all tonal in the resample options. sometimes i can stretch the one sample to where it matches but it doesnt line up right with the bars or beats. im just lookin for a few pointers from some people who know what they are doin. maybe theres somethin im missin. but i really sucks when ive got multiple parts i wanna use but everything gets screwed cuz the samples are all crazy. and i believe that im chopping them out right cuz the chops are tight when i loop them. i dont know but maybe someone could help. it would be much appreciated.

you are making it way too complicated. Just get a good 2 bar loop, chop it up how you want it and rearrange the parts. I have never used timestretching and all my beats come out fine.

just chop it on the kick & snare hits then when you put it into your beat all you do is put the kick part on the kick & the snare part on the snare. also sometimes when you put your samples in they may sound a bit off but once you put drums over it, it sounds normal.

ONE THING: If your using time stretch to fix the tempo between samples, you have to make the longer ones match the shorter ones. If you stretch a sample out longer, you'll have milliseconds of air throughout the whole sample which begins the fluttering effect.
