The 307 is targeted towards more "live" performances. Its got a pitch slider like a turntable and is marketed at djs.

p.s my roland dj 2000 is for sale . email me if u are interested or if any one else u know is interested.

Yes u can tweak almost anynthing on the 307. If u plan to buy my mixer then i suggest u get the 505 because of its 7 part mixer. LFO = low frequency oscillation. a new dj 2000 out of bombay would cost u about 65k im askin about 50k ill bear courier charges. let me know u can email me.

The roland dj 2000 has the ability to bend midi signal so u can pitch bend ur 505 from the mixer itself !! like remote control !

Well,

I looked at the Roland booth at NAMM, and they
have NOTHING NEW! I would think they would have
a new version of the MC505 maybe the MC507? But,
no.

However...the MC505 I think is a much better
system than the MC307. In fact, I think the MC307
is a step back in the Groove product line. It has
less features than the 505, but more sounds? I would
take the feature list over the extra 200 sounds any
day.

If your a DJ, you might however like the MC307, it has
many features for DJ's. They added these features to
hit the DJ market.

I don't DJ, I just like creating techno music, so I
would pick the MC505. The price is not that much
different! Something like $200 bucks more?

I've used the electribe series and it is sweet. Its geared more toward creating quality tracks.

Which Electribe are you talking about? The R is a drum machine, for synth sounds try the A.
