Yo what's up. Anyone here use this program? I just started rockin on the demo and I must say, this joint is way better than the FPC or Guru when it comes to drums. The features and control of your samples in this program comes as close to a MPC in software that I've seen yet. The only thing, it doesn't have a sequencer but if you rock on Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools, or any other DAW/sequencer, you'll be ready to go. The only thing i'm trying to figure out now is MIDI setup: I'm using Logic as my sequencer. Do you know how to configure the midi so that when i play the drums in battery and record in my sequencer, each cell is recorded onto a seperate track for mixing within my sequencer?

You don't need to record the midi onto separate outputs you can record it all to the same but then make the audio go to separate outputs, so that you can mix it. This depends on how you have your audio preferences setup. I have mine setup with 1 stereo and then 5 mono. When ever I start to do a sequence it comes out as the one standard output, but if I like the idea I will then route different sounds to different outputs for mixing. To do this all you need to do is click on the cell you want to route to lets say a mono output and and then on the bottom right of Battery under the Volume meter there should be a box not to sure what it says in it (because I'm not at home) but I think it's s1/2, click on it keep your finger on the mouse and move it up, you should see it change to m3. I have the 1st Battery so it may differ to the new one.

Yo wsup man. Thanks for the feedback. I don't think it would be this hard to figure out if I was using Pro Tools as my sequencer but I really wanna get the hang of Logic. Are using Logic as your sequencer? That will make a world of difference b/c I don't think it's the setup with Battery that's confusing me but using Logic. I'll take a look into what you said though. Get @ me.

Why would it not be that hard to figure out if you were using Pro Tools ? It all boils down to the same thing IMO, learn your sequencer inside out, if you knew how the routing in logic worked and looked in the relevent chapter in the Battery manual I'm sure it wouldn't take more then 10 min to figure out.

Don't believe the hype, Pro tools maybe the industry standard but I would say logic could quite easily go toe to toe.

Try and learn something new about your sequencer every week, don't always switch it on and try and do a beat, experiment, you will be suprised at what you can figure out.

I use Cubase VST as my sequencer, Old I know, but it does the job for me. I need to upgrade, the DAW, mine's to slow.

Hey wsup. I know pro tools is the industry standard and i agree, that Logic is hot. I ain't about going with the hype with anything. I think pro tools is just easier cuz that what I learned on and I am certified. I'm trying to learn Logic now which is why I've been having so many questions. Thanks for your feedback.

Yeah, they got a nice drum bank too. I ran a whole bunch of them through a tube amp.
