This was the first beat i made. This is the first time i sampled stuff so i had to find a sample friendly joint...came across my old motown collection and messed around with Al Green's Love and Happiness....I have not gotten a chance to mix it also i am planning on playing with the drums a little more...but here it is please let me know what you guys think.......I ll be honest i have been listening to stuff on this board and have heard stuff that is better than some of the **** that is out, so everyone keep it up.

I think that joint is hot, the intro can use a lil work but other than that its smooth

im feelin the drums alot but the sample chops sound too much like the original. you can tell its "love and happiness". other than that its cool. if that was your first beat than good job. dont like the intro too much

black rob used it and so did Twista's "Do Wrong f/ Lil' Kim" (which was pretty nice). Malik, you've got some fire over there! You chopped and looped perfectly. This is a very energetic track. I like the "come on" at the end of every 4 bars. Made me say "F*** YEAH LET'S GET IT... CAN'T STOP, WON'T STOP!!!!" lol.

yea thats tite, I sampled that song too, check out my rendition. I'm not finished with it yet but heres a rough version of it with my group spitting on it.

Thanks for taking time out to listen to my post. I appreciate everyones feedback. Dj Dubld i liked what you did with your loop, very on point and the claps are key.....Good work. VBM...what can i say man you are on your game also, especially witht he "Blue" sample.....good **** man you had me movin.....junkone i agree with you, the intro str8 up sucks, i just have not gone back and worked on the track....i will change it. everyone keep it up and keep on making good music.

djbub that beat is stright fire yo. love the hook sounds like it can be hyphy beat you....lol i know you didnt make it to be a hyphy beat but you son im here at work get hyphy.......hahahahahaha

That's what I'm talking about!!!! That **** is CRACK!!! I see a deeper kick drum and snare. Maybe some congas in the back Kanye style. I really like it. Try adding the horn riff in that song. You got skills baby.
