SO I bought a bootleg of the motif on dvd for a friend and i was tryna help him produce. The tracks are all in wav but they are extremely long and we were tryna figure out how to play them in fruity loops w/o being so long?!?!? Like we drop a sound on the Step Sequncer and we press a note and the not last for like 45 seconds... and idea on how to play the notes like short single shots?!?!

use the cut itself feature to figure out how you wanna play the notes then you gotta use the piano roll, and shorten the notes using the "none" snap setting.

no dat really aint how u do it. well if u jus wanna cut the note down to a few seconds then yea dats how ya do it. but wut i thinkur askin is how come it keeps playin after u unhold the key or w.e. on each sample window thing is shows the sample wav picture or w.e. u have to go to the knob dat says "crf" and turn it all the way to the right. then if u press the note and hold it it will play but if u unhold it it will stop. hope that helped u kinda.

click on the sample in the sequencer (where you see the name of the sample left of the little green light),
up will come the options for that sample (channel settings),

click the Instrument Channel Settings (INS)tab you will see the DEL/att/HOLD/sustain/REL etc knobs either tweak those and/or click the little time box so that the light is on...

presto-

Any more questions?

HOpe this helps

Use the crc. It will also automaticly loop it. When u move the nob u will see 2 red lines. your sounds have to be arranged in the piano rool cause if not they will continue to loop

that is the best way to do this. and the esiest
