tell me what you think, i think its pretty tight. i used the same main loop as them, but my drums are much different and i used a violin. i also added a different sample from the same song. tell me what you think i should do or if i should keep it how it is.
Nice...sounds like it could be on a Wu album. My only critcism is the violin. The part is aight but the tone/sound of it is kinda weak. I'm no pro myself but is there a way to give it a fuller, more realistic sound?
^^I haven't mixed it down yet but I agree. The violin does sound kind of weak. I don't have many soundfonts to work with so its tough getting the right sound alright, I just thought it sounded pretty boring with just the chops. Thanks for peepin it.
the vocals are too strong when it enters in (if you listen to teh sample on teh original, its real smooth), adn the violin takes away the simplicity of wu beats. but the drums are aight, overall its a pretty cool remake.

I read in one of the newbie forums or maybe it was a video, some guy suggested doing a bunch of eq'ing. He re-created the What You Know About That beat and he used all Reason factory sounds but by eq'ing the horns and strings he made them sound realistic and full and it sounded like the real beat.
