Hi everyone I use cooledit and fruity loops 5xxl I'm working with something sampled from vinyl. My question is what effect would remove the vinyl sounds from the track or lessen the sounds so the melody sounds better

In Cool Edit, go to Effects and then Noise Reduction, open that tab and go to Click/Pop Eliminator..... Hope this works, it works for me 99% of the time.

Bias Soundsoap 2. make sure you have @ least 2-3 seconds of what the record with no music so it can figure out what to clean up. Then click the Learn Noise button and press play and then it will set a setting for you and then you can play with it from there. it works best with .wav files I have trouble with .mp3 files.
